• Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy made 106 films, 104 of which have been saved. The Babes in Toyland Tent has access to about 70 of them.
  • Most of the films are two reelers, that is, they run about 20 minutes. We usually run two two-reelers at meetings.
  • The most most memorable film is probably The Music Box, in which the Boys struggle to carry a piano up a tremendously long flight of steps to a house at the top.
  • Babes in Toyland, also known as March of the Wooden Soldiers, is a feature-length film. It is set in mythical Toyland with all the Mother Goose characters. It is a musical and is often regarded as a Christmas movie. The Boys plan Stannie Dee and Ollie Dum.
  • Many of the shorts (two-reelers) are silent, but music was almost always provided by local talent. In reality, the silents were never silent.
